STEAM Revolution Partners with Heritage Wireless Group to Bridge the Digital Divide and Increase STEAM Learning through the Affordable Connectivity Program.
Atlanta, GA – March 05, 2023 — STEAM Revolution, a Veteran owned and operated non-profit organization focused on growing the pipeline for digital careers through community engagement, is excited to announce its partnership with Heritage Wireless Group, a minority-owned wireless company. This partnership will bring affordable connectivity and ACP devices to underserved communities, bridging the digital divide and providing access to STEAM education.
As STEAM Revolution celebrates its upcoming 5-year anniversary, this partnership with Heritage Wireless Group is set to increase the organization’s reach by 10-fold. “This partnership with Heritage Wireless Group is a major milestone for STEAM Revolution. Our mission has always been to provide STEAM education and resources to young people in underserved communities, and this partnership allows us to do that on a much larger scale,” said Kimberly Henry, Board Chair of STEAM Revolution.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides low-cost devices and affordable internet services to households in need, empowering children and families to learn, create, and explore the world of STEAM. By partnering with Heritage Wireless, STEAM Revolution will be able to reach even more underserved communities and help bridge the digital divide that has been exacerbated by the pandemic.
